Bill Sconce reports:
11 people interested in Python attended the October 2009 meeting of
the GNHLUG Python Special Interest Group, held as usual at the
Amoskeag Business Incubator, 33 South Commercial Street, Manchester
NH on the 4th Thursday, October 22 2009, starting at 7:00 PM.
As usual, a beginners' session preceded at 6:30 PM. The cookies
were mini-peanut-butter-cup cupcakes, supplied by Janet; milk was
supplied by Bill.
Bruce Labitt led a discussion on practical use of Python generator
expressions. Ray Côté showed a complete Web site, which his company,
Appropriate Solutions Inc., brought from initial specification to
go-live, including database conversion, using Python, in 3 weeks. (!)
Thanks to Southern New Hampshire University and the Amoskeag
Business Incubator, our generous hosts, and to Bruce Labitt and
Ray Côté, and to everyone who joined us.
Hope to see you next time!
(Which pro'ly isn't going to be 4th Thursday)
(Thankfully??)
