Once you have successfully created your Boot and Supplimental disks, put the Boot disk into your floppy drive and start the system. If your CDROM drive supports bootable CDROMs, and you don't want to dual-boot between Linux and Win98, you can skip making the boot disks and boot directly from the CDROM.
After the system boots, you will be presented with a boot: prompt. If you have Win98 and want to dual boot, type linux supp at this prompt. Otherwise, simply hit enter. The install program needs information off of the updated Supplimental disk to correctly access Win98 extended partitions, so make sure you have the latest boot.img and supp.img files from ftp.redhat.com if you are dual-booting Win98 and Linux.
The system will churn away at the floppy for a few moments, then load the Red Hat Installer. When presented with the "Welcome to Red Hat Linux" screen, hit enter at the "Ok" prompt to begin the installation process.
Select the language to use during the install process. Since you are using this document, which is written in English, select "English".
You probably have a "us" keyboard. Select that at the Keyboard Type menu if you aren't sure.
