RSS ("Real Simple Syndication") provides an alternate means of being notified of changes to our web site. RSS is a form of XML which can be read in many browsers (like [[http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/][FireFox]] or Safari) as well as in specialized [[http://directory.google.com/Top/Reference/Libraries/Library_and_Information_Science/Technical_Services/Cataloguing/Metadata/RDF/Applications/RSS/News_Readers/][News Aggregators]]. This can provide an simple means of reading news from many sources, from amateur web logs to the [[http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/help/rss/default.stm][BBC]]. Individual webs each have their own RSS feed.
