Normally an agenda for the week (including possible closures) will be sent out via email a week ahead of time. In case of inclement weather an email will go out to the mailing list. Particularly if the Amherst Middle School is closed due to inclement weather you need to watch email for closing notices. Therefore it is a good idea to sign up for the gnhlug-announce mailing list.

We will make an effort to simulcast and record all the presentations. It is more likely that the recorded sessions will be available a week or so after the meeting, but we will attempt to make the simulcast in real time for live Q&A. However Q&A and discussion is also encouraged via the gnhlug-discuss mailing list, and some questions may be handled at the next meeting.

Finally, there may be sessions which actually build physical things. If these happen we may use 3-D printers, laser cutters, and so forth. All things designed will have design specs created at the Makerspace and should be transferable to other 3-D printers and laser cutters also available at other Makerspace places. People local to Amherst Middle School can make a decision if they wish to join the Makerspace or not by paying their normal fees. Depending on the project the project leader may make parts and sell them to interested parties for the cost of materials and labor.
