For our new InternetServer, BenScott has a 1U rackmount server with some fairly nice specs he is willing to donate to the cause of GNHLUG. Pics and Intel tech docs are attached to this page.

The server uses an Intel SRMK2 base platform. See: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/srmk2/

  • Chassis: Rack-mount, 1U ("pizza box"), AC power
  • CPU: 2 x 1 GHz Pentium III CPUs
  • RAM: 1 GB, 133 MHz, ECC
  • HDD: 2 x 18 GB, SCA 80-pin, SCSI, hot swap
  • NIC: 2 x Intel 82559 (10/100)
  • Slots: 2 x 64-bit, 66 MHz, PCI, both open
  • VGA: ATI Rage XL, 4 MB, onboard
  • Ports: PS/2 keyboard & mouse; 2 x USB (USB 1); 9-pin RS-232
  • SCSI: Adaptec AIC-7899, Ultra160, 2 channels
  • Removable media drives: FDD; CD reader
  • No free drive bays
