Interests

  • User-Mode-Linux (experienced) and Xen (heard of)
  • Perl - self-taught. enjoy Conway's "object oriented perl"
  • Python - used at work and actually enjoy
  • MythTV - have it working on my Asus Pundit-R w/o my big SATA HD... grrrr... using Fedora Core 6 + Myth TV according to Wilson Net
  • Watching the evolution of the Eclipse IDE, Glade, development tools...

Distros

  • Very familar with Red Hat 9 - loved Ximian XD2 and Red-Carpet on this.
  • Now using Fedora Core 6 for the Myth TV box (Thanks Jarod!)
  • Much more Exposed to SUSE
