<<O>>  Difference Topic MeetingIdeasSpeakers (r1.4 - 17 Aug 2006 - BenScott)

-- BillMcGonigle - 15 Aug 2006

Note: this page is a synthesis of the former pages MeetingIdeas and MeetingSpeakers. We're trying to normalize our redundant data a bit.

The following table lists some ideas for meeting topics, speakers willing to speak on those topics, and previous instances of these topics being presented at meetings.

Line: 11 to 9

Note: the above sentences contain the sort of ugly grammar up with which we will not put.

And check individual TWiki pages (for example: BruceDawson) to see find topics that person is willing to talk about. And see MeetingIdeas for topics that people have requested. And see the VolunteerList for general volunteers. And don't begin a sentence with the word "and".
>

If you'd like to add yourself as a possible presenter (pretty please!) do so here, and not in a bunch of other places, so we can have one place to look for meeting planning. Please make sure you have a Main.MyUserName page and add a note there about which LUG's (OurChapters) you're willing to present at.

Also, add topics you're interested in seeing a speaker for.

Note: the above sentences contain the sort of ugly grammar up with which we will not put.

This is a list of ideas and suggestions for meetings. Various sources have contributed over the years. This list includes both topics (subject matter) as well as techniques (how to go about having the meetings).

There is MeetingSpeakers page that lists people who are willing to give presentations on specific things.

This list is by no means exhaustive! If you have an idea, add it! If you have a prepared presentation, attach them to your new topic.

Some of the ideas that have been floated for meetings are:

* The Basics o A "From the Ground Up" Installation session. This is going to be a synthesis of MeetingIdeas and MeetingSpeakers. To be combined into at least a 3-column table. Add past meetings?

The following table lists some speakers and what they are willing to talk about.

And check individual TWiki pages (for example: BruceDawson) to see find topics that person is willing to talk about. And see MeetingIdeas for topics that people have requested. And see the VolunteerList for general volunteers. And don't begin a sentence with the word "and".
