* Determine what exists currently * Determine what members are currently missing out on meetings and try to get them involved (in particular) * Pick a date and time for regular meetings * Find a location (one that is expected to be used most or all of the tikme) * Locate or create documentation on current infrastructure * Identify missing infrastructure and delegate responsibility for each item * Identify local businesses that may have people who wish to present * Find "filler" presentations for the meetings in which there are no guest speakers (what are we good at, what do we have experience with?) If you are resurrecting a past chapter: * Try to contact previous organizers and find out what went wrong * Try and use the same schedule and location, if possible
