---++ About the event

CentraLUG's regular night for July 2007 would put the meeting on Mon 2 July -- two days before Independence Day.  We've decided that a Summer Barbecue would be more fun.  Let's all get together, bring some food, and just enjoy the company of friends and colleagues.  Tech discussions are optional, albeit probably inevitable.  Anyone associated with CentraLUG or [[OurChapters][GNHLUG]] is welcome to attend, provided you sign-up first, and bring some kind of edible item for the party.  BYOB.  Children are welcome.

7 PM on a Monday night is kind of a weird time for a BBQ, so we're moving things to a different day.  

*UPDATED Sun 24 June*: We had planning on Sunday, 1 July, but then someone pointed out that that is an NHIS NASCAR Race Day.  That made our venue unreachable right in the middle of our planned time.  Yikes!  So our BBQ has been rescheduled to *Sunday, 15 July*.  Same time, just two weeks later.  Hopefully there won't be any traffic jams this time.

This will still take the place of the regular CentraLUG and DLSLUG meetings for July.  It is, however, open to all, and not just
CentraLUG/DLSLUG regulars.

[[Main.BruceDawson][Bruce Dawson]] has kindly offered up Miles Smith Farm in Loudon, NH for the venue (thanks, Bruce!).  If you've never been to Bruce's farm, it's a beautiful spot, with a rustic old farm house and barn, hilly fields, and an incredible view.  The "farm" part isn't just a name -- it's an actual, working farm, with cows and horses, and farm products for sale.  Don't let that scare you away, though -- Bruce is a certified geek, so electricity and !WiFi Internet are readily available.

*UPDATED Sun 15 July*, 2:00 PM: At this late date, it is unlikely that anyone will get a chance to email you driving directions in time for the actual event.  So if you already know how to get there, feel free to drop by.  Otherwise, maybe we'll see you next year!

There are two ways to sign-up for the BBQ.

   1 *Website edit:* If you have a [[Main.TWikiUsers][TWiki account]] for editing this website, you can just use the "Sign up now" button below.  You'll be asked for a username and password.  If you don't have an account but would like one, you can [[TWiki.TWikiRegistration][register yourself now]].  Registration is free, open to all, and only takes a moment.  If you've registered in the past but forgot your password, you can [[TWiki.ResetPassword][reset your password]].  Driving directions will be sent to the email address you provide with your TWiki registration.
   1 *Email:* If you would prefer not to bother with this wiki stuff, just send an email to barbecue@gnhlug.org (remove the "NoSpam").  Be sure to tell us *_how many adults and children_* will be attending, and the *_food item_* you're bringing.  We'll add you to the list, without registering you in TWiki or publishing your contact info.  We will reply with driving directions.
